Due to the low power consumption of LEDs, some modern vehicles (e.g., VAG Group, Mercedes, or Stellantis Group) with CANBUS multiplexed systems may not correctly detect the light bar's operation. This is because LEDs consume significantly less power than conventional halogen bulbs.

The solution in these cases is to install a specific CANBUS resistor that simulates the appropriate consumption or, alternatively, to mount a trailer control unit compatible with LED technology.

In most cases, the LED bar functions correctly; however, it is the vehicle itself that does not recognize its operation.
